at PLAST 2015 with Giugni srl

Giugni srl presents an informative panel on the project "Feeding the planet: what is the contribution of technologies, and in particular of the mechanical, electronic and digital technologies made in Emilia-Romagna" at its stand at PLAST 2015, the international exhibition dedicated to the plastics and rubber industry that will be held in Milan from 5th to 9th 2015. The aim is to give visibility to the initiative to facilitate its uptake, attractiveness and development opportunities. As it already emerged from the interviews with the students, this topic needs a particular development in our territory, particularly suitable for packaging and converting, sectors closely linked to the food supply chain.

starting the interviews

12 studenti e 5 stagisti imprese

3rd March 2015
12 students and 5 trainees started the interviews with the 16 companies that joined the project. During the interview, they used a questionnaire with closed and open questions, as in the METALnet surveys. Information will be collected on the history of the company, on the production processes and on the relations between companies; a specific study concerns innovative services. The collection, cataloguing and comparative analysis of pieces for the "travel diary" will be an opportunity for reflecting on materials, technologies, skills, organizational models, production sites, sectors and outlet markets. These considerations will be an integral part of the report that will be drawn up by students. The pieces of the travel diary, as well as videos and images, will be part of the exhibition "What mechanics to feed the planet". The digital documentation is the informative base of the virtual exhibition.
